Something about holidays and having kids has made me extra sentimental. Making memories around new traditions that they’ll grow up remembering gives me ALL the mom feels. Easter has never been a holiday I particularly put any emphasis on in my teens or twenties but, I’ll be honest, I’ve been prepping their Easter baskets for a month. When I saw this Speckled Golden Egg I knew it would be, not only a gorgeous centerpiece but also a fun special prize the kids can hunt. THIS “Golden Egg” we’ll hide in the backyard is a tradition I know we will implement every Easter. I love the idea of hunting for an extra special treasure along the egg hung. The big egg was always a highly sought-after prize with my childhood hunts and I cannot wait to use this one for years to come.
