Elevate Your Home Dining with Coton Colors Iris Blue Collection

Let’s be honest, home life is the new normal and it’s easy to get into a rut when you’re eating every meal in your kitchen. Taking a few extra minutes to make ordinary meals and snacks an experience (even if you’re just wine and cheesing it for one) helps me feel sane! I love setting up mini-dates at home with my husband by displaying our typical dinner in a more elegant setting and Coton Colors gorgeous Iris Blue collection is the perfect way to elevate any evening!

What I’m saying is: try using the fancy stuff you usually reserve for guests and entertaining — even if you’re just picking up take-out and watching ‘Shark Tank’ all night. It’ll make you feel like you’re on a date even if you have a newborn and a toddler joining you and haven’t left the house in a few months.

My toddler is currently in the “snacks all day” part of life so I’ve been making snack boards for lunch or dinner which is basically when I throw a random assortment of fruit, cheese, a few things he’ll love, and a few things I’d love for him to try. I’ve found that giving him the freedom to pick what he eats off the board and offering him new options without any pressure makes him want to try new foods! He loves that he gets to share his lunch with Mama and I love that he tries something new. It’s an easy way to break up the day and takes minimal effort as far as set-up and cleaning go. He loves to help in the kitchen so even letting him help me put some berries on a tray is a screen-free activity that we both get to enjoy together!

The Coton Colors collection is so beautiful it even works as home decor. I leave my Iris Blue Canisters out on my countertops (but they would be gorgeous styled on a bookshelf or console table) and the Iris Blue Drop Round Wood Tray makes for the perfect tabletop centerpiece.
